Little Wolf

Little Wolf by R. Cooper

On the run from his old-blood werewolf family, Tim Dirus finds himself in Wolf’s Paw, one of the last surviving refuges from the days when werewolves were hunted by humans and one of the last places Tim wants to be. Kept away from other wolves by his uncle, Tim knows almost nothing about his own kind except that alpha werewolves only want to control and dominate a scrawny wolf like him.

Tim isn’t in Wolf’s Paw an hour before he draws the attention of Sheriff Nathaniel Neri, the alphaest alpha in a town full of alphas. Powerful, intimidating, and the most beautiful wolf Tim has ever seen, Nathaniel makes Tim feel safe for reasons Tim doesn’t understand. For five years he’s lived on the run, in fear of his family and other wolves. Everything about Wolf’s Paw is contrary to what he thought he knew, and he is terrified. Fearing his mate will run, Sheriff Nathaniel must calm his little wolf and show him he’s more than a match for this big, bad alpha.

This is the fourth installment in the beings in love series. So this is a hard one because I don’t like to give bad reviews especially when I like the author but I really didn’t like this one at all. So this book is about Tim Dirus he is a small wolf who has come to wolfs paw and is in my opinion weird. He wears talismans around his neck (spells) and he is skittish. He is also very intimidated by big men. Tim is also a wolf but doesn’t know much about being a wolf because of his past. He is very attracted to the town sheriff named Nathaniel Neri.

Nate is an alpha wolf and everyone seems to have some sort of attraction to him. He on the other hand is attracted to Tim because Tim is his mate. He tries his best to take care of him by making sure he eats and is safe. Nate asks Tim about his day he tries to be nice to him. Do you know what Tim does? Calls him stupid and an ass.

Yup! that’s what he does for most of the book. Then he does something else that really put the icing on the cake

When he did this I gave up. I mean really? REALLY? The other books were awesome what happened? I just don’t know. I gave it 2 just because of Carl because he was funny as heck and Nate was a sweetheart but I could have done without Tim. What did you think about the book?  What’s your favorite shifter romance?  Write me a comment below. Until Next time.
