Until July

Until July by Aurora Rose Reynolds

Wes Silver wasn’t looking for love, but when July Mayson literally knocks him on his ass during their first encounter, his world is turned upside down by the quirky blonde, and every moment with her makes him more determined to protect her. July Mayson doesn’t understand the pull she feels toward the bad boy biker Wes Silver, but she knows being with him is like nothing she’s ever felt before. Now all she has to do is tell her overprotective father, Asher Mayson, that she’s found her boom.

So I feel like I could have predicted that I wouldn’t have loved this book. Oh wait I did. It wasn’t bad, I just didn’t love it. There were just a few things that irritated the hell out of me. I usually love biker romance books.

So one of the reasons that I was so weary of reading the girl version of the Until series was that I KNEW the girl was going to be annoying. July was most definitely annoying for most of the book some of the things that she did I wanted to smack her over and over again. The Until series with the brother Mayson brothers had the boom effect where they wanted the women at all cost and it didn’t matter what they had to do to get them. In this book while July felt the pull she acted like a child to deny it.

His head dips towards mine, and I do the only thing I can think of -I cover my mouth with my hand.

Really? your a freaking adult if you didn’t want to kiss him don’t. Putting her hands over her mouth was just ridiculous.

Another thing I knew was that he was going to be apologizing for things he shouldn’t be apologizing for.

I left you last night , and you already have Jax Mayson in your house, showering? Now your asking what I’m doing here

Now in this case he is bringing her breakfast and finds Jax in the shower and for some unknown reason she is tongue tied so she doesn’t explain the situation. He says “bitches” under his breath and she gets all indignant because he should know she is a Mayson and now Bam he is the one that should apologize. She is tonged tied ALOT. Now I know some of you are gonna be all he shouldn’t call her a bitch. Nope he probably shouldn’t but if you were reading a book and a girl came to a guys house bringing breakfast. The neighborhood “slut” is coming out of the shower gorgeous and soaking wet, but happens to be his cousin. You wouldn’t even blink an eye if she called him an asshole and the girl a slut would you? Nope.

The men in the Until series are all muscular so this line was completely out of place:

I didn’t even know abs were something that actually exist in real life.

I just don’t get it. Their relationship is really cute once you get through all of the bullshit. July is a vet and she loves wounded animals and tries to save the world one wounded animal at a time. She fell for the big bad biker Wes in this biker romance. UntilJuly3Wes moved to Tennessee after the military to be closer to his mother. He open an auto repair shop with his fellow solider and biker brothers. When he meet July he just knew. The sex in this book is amazing. I gave it an extra point just for that because my goodness I needed a cold shower after.

Some of the secondary story stories were a little bothersome. Kayan who is Julys best friend and Z who is a fellow brother. In the story Kayan and Z get together but I wanted to know a little more about the two. Why her parents were the way they were? What was Z’s story? I started to like them and didn’t get much on them. Then Naliah one of Nico and Sophie’s twins really? she left to find and live near her “real” mom and dad. Ugh that was just annoying and I don’t think I like her very much. I gave this a solid 3. The sex scenes are what really made me give this a 3 instead of a 2.  What book has your favorite sex scenes? write in the comments below. Until Next Time.
