Alaska, With Love

Alaska, With Love by Sandrine Gasq-Dion

So we have a second one people. I liked this one a lot better it had something I LOVED in it. A confused gay man. Oh yes I’m talking GFY people. Before I get into the review I have to show you the blurb. So here we go.

Josh Montgomery is a red-blooded American male that loves his job and loves women even more. Part of an elite team run by General Derek Jacobs, Josh and his fellow assassins take pride in their jobs. When one Assassin gig turns into a rescue mission on the side, Josh’s life is turned upside down by the man he rescues. Now, he has to take a good long look at who he really is.

With the help from his friends Mateo, Riley and Troy, Josh tries to understand what he’s feeling.

Mark Patterson joined Doctor’s without Borders to do good in a foreign country. Little did he know a maniacal drug lord would kidnap him and use him to deal drugs, among other things…. Without any hope of rescue, Mark resigns himself to his prison. Until early one morning when he’s rescued by a blonde God. Josh Montgomery is tall, light and beautiful….and straight.

Being in close quarters only makes things harder on both men, will Mark get his man? Will Josh take a chance…. In the wilds of Denali Forest the two men come together, but is it for good? Or will Mark’s past drive them apart?

So we have Josh the overly sexy assassin sent in to kill a man that has been killing innocent people. While he was there he saw a man in the courtyard and he found him to be very attractive. Now I thought this was a little weird given the circumstances but whatever. So Josh calls in reinforcements and they get the man out. What they find out is the kidnapped and abused man that Josh is now very attracted to is Mark.

Now if you read the first in the series you know that Mark is the first person that Mateo ever kissed. He is also his foster brother. Mark was a Dr. that was over sees and was kidnapped and tortured and raped repeatedly until he was rescued by Josh and the rest of the men.

Now Mark is gay he has known this since he was a kid. Josh on the other hand is struggling with the fact that not only is mark a man but that he was abused. He doesn’t want to take advantage but he wants him really bad.

Now on too the sexy. Yum. One thing about Ms Gasq-Dion is she knows how to write a sex scene and this book has plenty. YUM. I can just picture the two of these men together. All sexy and sweaty. Wait I got a little side tracked there didn’t I. Anyway you’ll enjoy that [art of it. It also has some action and a little bit of love and some angst as well. It was a great read and I gave it a 4. Until next time.
