Savage Beast by Rose
I dated a mobster. A monster. A maniac.
He left me scarred, marred and done with men in general. The last thing I needed was another man in the very same lifestyle. I might let Cole Savage into my bedroom, but I can’t let him into my heart.
She’s been hurt before. She thinks I’ll hurt her again.
Problem is, I’m not the one who is trying to hurt her.
Her ex-boyfriend is a part of the Lucky Lucianos, an up-and-coming Italian mafia in New York city. He thought he could get away with what he did to her, but he won’t be so lucky when I get my hands on him.
Let me stat off by saying that Stepdaddy Savage is one of the best books that I have read in awhile. I was so happy when I read that book because I was in a book rut. I didn’t think thatRose could top Stepdaddy Savage but they did, Oh boy did they.
Cole, the street rat turned mafia cage fighter. He was scrawny and hungry when Graham first met him. Yes for those of you wondering you get more of Graham and Dahlia . Cole is every girls fantasy, well mine, LOL. Big, strong and sexy but with a little bit of sweetness in him. I love thatis able to do that with their characters so easily. He is still tough but he doesn’t seem less rough around the edges even when he is being sweet, I love it. That’s what makes a great cage fighter romance, with the Irish mob thrown in.
Jade the sassy best friend of Dahlia who is now a bartender. She was hiding a big secret from her new “family”. She should have told them so they could have prepared but she didnt. Jade dated the wrong man because in a way she wanted what Dahlia had with Graham. She tried her best to fight the chemistry with Cole but he wasn’t having any of it and wore her down. So one thing that I REALLY hate in books is when the sassy girl in the book is too sassy? You know that character that always has something to say back without a thought. Maybe I hate those characters because people like that are annoying, to me. Sassy is fine but always having something to say, please just stop. Jade is not like that at all she has just the right amount of sass for my taste.
One of my biggest gushes about this book is that they say that it is a ménage. I LOVE THAT. Why? Well, when I first started to get into reading erotica I hated ménages with a passion. The positions confused me and I had to do some *coughs research to get the visual, LOL. Stopping in the middle of a book is not something I like to do. I realized fairly quickly that a lot of authors don’t put ménage anywhere when the couple isn’t actually in a polyamory relationship. I never knew this until I was knee deep in a threesome scene. So just for that alone I love them.
Their character development is great. By the end of the book I felt as if I knew the savages and want to catch up with them in the next book. Especially Carter and Quinn. I just have to say the sneak peek for Carter and Quinn had me like:
Really one awesome chapter? What am I gonna do? So in conclusion, LOL. The book is freaking awesome. I mean that about sums it up I give it a 5. Until Next time.
